Work Without LimitsFor students with disabilities, CXL has established a partnership with Work Without Limits (WWL), a network of resources dedicated to promoting job and career growth for persons with disabilities throughout Massachusetts. Work Without Limits programs and services are geared to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities who are seeking jobs, businesses that actively recruit people with disabilities, and the employment providers that serve individuals with disabilities. WWL hosts an Annual Disability Mentoring Day each year. This event allows you to meet with a professional one-on-one who works in a field tied to your major. Mentees have the opportunity to shadow employees and learn more about job and internship opportunities with them. Below is a list of things you can do to get the most out of the WWL partnership. And of course as always, CXL is here to support you and answer any questions you may have.
Disability:IN NextGen Leader: The NextGen Initiatives empower college students and recent grads with disabilities, including veterans, to be successful in the workplace. Disability:IN NextGen Leaders have the opportunity to connect with leading brands across all industries. Students are matched one-on-one with mentors from Disability:IN Corporate Partners and experience an all-expense paid trip to the Disability:IN Annual Conference where NextGen Leaders network and interview with companies like Boeing, Facebook, JPMorgan Chase, and Microsoft. This is a great way for someone to transition from school to work and start a promising career.
