Director, Center for Global & Career Services:

Mireille McLaughlin

Mireille McLaughlin received a B.A. in International Relations from Wheaton College, spending her junior year abroad studying in Paris at the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle.  She received an M.A. in Intercultural Relations from Lesley University, studying abroad again in France as part of her academic program.  In her role as the Director of the Center for Global & Career Services, she leads a team responsible for Study Abroad, Career Development, Academic Internships, and International Student Services.  Mireille has worked in International Higher Education for close to 20 years in a variety of roles focused on study abroad, international student support and academic advising.   Mireille is particularly interested in the overlap between students' international and experiential experiences and undergraduate career outcomes.

Mireille meets with all international students, and takes study abroad appointments for students in the following majors: Communication, Nursing, Public Health, Sociology, and Visual and Performing Arts.

Assistant Director of Grad Outcomes and Operations:

Karen Bailey

Karen Bailey received a B.S. in Business Administration and a master's degree in leadership from South University. She has 15+ years of experience working in Career Services in various capacities at Lasell University and The New England Institute of Art. As the Assistant Director of Graduate Outcomes and Operations, Karen is responsible for conducting research and analysis of where Curry graduates land within the first 6-12 months of completing their program of study and providing career advising services to students individually and in small groups.

A native of Brookline/Boston MA, Karen is very familiar with the cities - and yet there is still so much to explore. She enjoys dancing, singing, going to the movies, volunteering for community events, and walks with her black Labrador dog, Jasper.

Karen takes career appointments for all alumni, as well as current students studying Communication and Visual and Performing Arts.

Global and Career Advisor:

Joanne Farley (Connolly)

Joanne grew up in MA and attended three different colleges to get her undergraduate degree. She graduated from Framingham State University with a degree in biology and a concentration in secondary education. Through her experience in substituting, she found that teaching was not for her. However, she enjoyed getting to know her students and discovered a true passion in helping them access higher education. Combining this passion with her experience in the college transfer process, she decided to pursue a career in higher education.

When Joanne's not working, she enjoys Zumba classes, baking, reading, traveling with her husband, Taylor, and singing — both in musicals and in traffic jams.

Joanne takes career appointments for all current students except for those majoring in Communication and Visual and Performing Arts. She takes study abroad appointments for students in the following majors: Business, Computer Science, Education, Marketing, Math, Psychology, and the Sciences (Bio, Biochem, Forensics).

Administrative Assistant:

Jenna Naughton

Jenna Naughton grew up in Rockland, MA and is a Curry College alum. She graduated in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in Communication, a concentration in Public Relations, and an English minor. During her time as a student at Curry, Jenna worked part-time as the Marketing & Social Media Assistant in the Center for Career Development. She returned in November 2021 to the transformed Center for Global & Career Services office as the Administrative Assistant. She is excited to return to her alma mater and provide students with the same support she received during her years as an undergraduate.
