Director:

Kerrie Aborn

Kerrie is the Director for the CCD & currently meets with Alumni, CE/Grad Students and Juniors and Seniors. She has over 14 years of experience working in higher education particularly in the areas of workforce development, enrollment, and community relations. Kerrie is the former Director of Constituent Relations and Institutional Partnerships at Earlham College and previously held various leadership positions at Anderson University.

      

Interim Assistant Director:

Carolyn Tidwell

Carolyn began her career at Northeastern University as a co-op student and upon graduation, a Cooperative Education Counselor. She has extensive experience administering internship programs and career services at a variety of colleges and universities, which include: Mount Ida College, Berklee College of Music, Roger Williams University, Wheelock College, San Francisco State University, Santa Clara University, and California State University, Bakersfield. In addition to higher education, Carolyn's professional experience includes serving as a Catering Manager at the Sheraton Boston Hotel and as a college relations coordinator at General Dynamics, expanding her experience to include corporate college recruiting and meeting planning.  She has also served on numerous professional career association executive boards in various capacities, which includes the coordination of national and regional conferences. Carolyn's other passion is as a jazz/big band vocalist, music teacher, and theatrical performer and she serves as a Connections Partner for Tapping Talent, an initiative to increase the pipeline of students to consider higher education careers. Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Northeastern University.

 

Interim Career Advisor:

Claude Guiney

 

Claude Guiney is a Certified Career Coach with extensive experience in career management, training and development, and human resources. She has worked in higher education for over 10 years and has been at the Center for Career Development since 2011 as a Resume Specialist and Interim Career Advisor. She brings real work experience to provide quality, personalized career advising to: First-Year, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Continuing Education/Graduate students and Alumni.

Outside of Curry, she consults for Keystone Associates where she delivers workshops on how to manage a proactive job search.  Prior to Curry, she worked as Coordinator of Employer Services at CareerWorks, and Training Administrator and Interpreter Coordinator for the Massachusetts Port Authority at Logan International Airport.

Claude graduated from Emmanuel College with a degree in French and Spanish Literature where she also studied at La Sorbonne, Paris, France and Pamplona, Spain. She is multi-lingual in English, French, Spanish and Arabic and enjoys traveling and learning about different cultures. She has her Post-BA Certification in Human Resource Management from Bentley University.

 

 

Administrative Assistant:

Liz Henderson

Liz comes from a background of varied office management positions and creative interests, including event coordination at Dartmouth College and running her own audio design business for four years. Today she revels in the multi-tasked challenge of managing the Career Development's office, events, and assisting the team in any way she can, while pursuing her creative goals of designing her own video games at home in her free time. Liz graduated with honors from the New England Institute of Art with a Bachelor of Science degree in Audio Media & Technology.

Office Assistant:

John Marks

 John Marks is going into his senior year as a Communication major with a minor in Business Management from New York City. He enjoys sports and traveling and is a member of the Curry College ski team. He hopes to find a job in marketing with a professional sports team when he graduates. John is excited to join the Center for Career Development and looks forward to working with you.

Social Media & Marketing Assistant:

Jenna Naughton

 Jenna Naughton is a junior at Curry College from Rockland, MA. She is a Communication major with a concentration in Public Relations. She enjoys traveling and is a member of the Curry College Public Relations Student Association. Jenna hopes to find a job in public relations or marketing in the future. She is excited to join the Center for Career Development and looks forward to working with you.

Ciabha Kelleher

 

Ciabha Kelleher is a sophomore at Curry College from West Roxbury, MA and is a Public Health and Wellness major. She enjoys spending time with her friends and is a member of Curry College HIPS. After graduating Curry College, Ciabha hopes to continue her education by receiving a master's degree in Public Health. She is excited to join the Center for Career Development and looks forward to working with you.
