Workplace Harassment Training Instructions

The College continues with our prevention and educational efforts as part of our commitment to the safety, well-being, success and equal opportunity for all our staff, faculty, and students. The College is committed to:

  • Increasing community awareness regarding all aspects of unlawful workplace harassment and Curry's "zero-tolerance" College policy prohibiting discriminatory action, sexual harassment, sexual misconduct and retaliation; and
  • Assisting and better preparing employees so that they may ensure a safe, inclusive, harassment-free environment for our students; and
  • Increasing community education efforts to address student sexual harassment, sexual assault and sexual misconduct, should they occur.
  • This training is required for all employees to take within 30 days of their start date, and then recertify every three years.

Curry Security Awareness Training

Curry uses SANS Litmos to provide security awareness training. The required security awareness training takes about 30 minutes to complete and covers handling and protecting Curry data, identifying phishing attempts, and data protection and data privacy best practices. After you have received your Curry College user credentials you can take this important and required security awareness training.

  • Parking on campus is free, but will require you to have a parking pass. Public Safety administers the parking passes. Please go to the Public Safety Office, located at 940 Brush Hill Road, and bring your Driver's License and car registration.

 Employee Bio and Picture for Website

  • Please contact the Marketing and Communications Department at marcomm@curry.edu to schedule a time to get your picture taken to be posted on the website, and click on the Employee Bio link to submit your bio to be shown on the Curry College website directory. 

      Please complete this task on your first week of employment.

Benefits

We are proud to offer Medical, Dental, Life and Long-Term Disability Insurance, Medical Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Reimbursement Plan, and a 403b Defined Contribution Retirement plan.  

 

Benefit Eligible Employees will receive an email from Interview Exchange with all the details of the benefits you are eligible for, as well as all enrollment forms.  Please check with the Human Resources Department for information concerning any of the benefits noted. The plan documents are the ultimate determinant of benefits. 

 

For benefit eligible employees, unless otherwise indicated, all benefits begin on the first of the month following the date of hire.  If an employee's date of hire is on the first of the month, then benefits begin immediately. 

 

Please note that all benefits enrollment forms must be completed and submitted within the first 30 days from your date of hire.  If you do not enroll in benefits within the first 30 days from your date of hire, you will have the option to enroll, and or make changes to your elected benefits during our annual open enrollment period which is held in April of each year for the benefit effective date of June 1 – May 31.

  • Our Plan Year runs from 6/1 - 5/31

  • Brown & Brown Advocate Program The Brown & Brown Advocate program is an employee Benefit Assistance Program designed to assist employees with any claim related concerns or issues on any of the benefit programs including Medical, Prescription Drug, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life Insurance Benefits

Retirement 
  • Curry College Plan Document - Curry College is proud to offer the Curry College Defined Contribution Retirement Plan (the "Plan"). The Plan is offered pursuant to Section 403(b) of the Internal Revenue Code. This Summary Plan Description provides a brief summary of the Plan. 

Employee Perks
  • Tuition Waiver - After one year of employment, full time employees may enroll in all Curry College undergraduate and graduate courses on a tuition-free, space available basis. If the course is job-related, this one-year wait may be waived. Spouses and dependent children of these full–time staff members are eligible for this benefit after 3 years of full-time service.
