Tutoring Services Available to You
Peer Tutors are Curry College students that have been recommended by a faculty member in the department in which they are tutoring. Scan the above QR code or click here to book an appointment with one of our Peer Tutors. We are now booking appointments through the Acuity Scheduling platform. Once your appointment is booked, you will receive a follow-up email from your tutor with the location or the zoom link for your session.
· Students looking for a professional tutor or tutoring in an area not covered by a peer tutor. · Access Pear Deck Tutoring through the Canvas Learning Management System. · Students are able to receive up to 180 minutes a week of tutoring through Pear Deck.
Writing Center Students in Continuing Education & Graduate Studies can access the Writing Center for assistance with written assignments in classes. Appointments are scheduled through Writing Center online and can be virtual or in person.
Disability Services The Office of Disability Services provides academic and non-academic accommodations for Curry College students. To be eligible for services, students would need to regsiter with the Office of Disability Services and submit appropriate documentation of their disability and recommended accommodations. Students wishing to learn more about the accommodations offered and process can find out more here. Once approved for academic accommodations, students receive a letter that they should give to their faculty to utilize the accommodations in their classes. The letter is valid for the academic year and a new letter needs to be requested each year.
Library The Levin Library contains a wide range of resources for students to utilize for class assignments and projects. To access the Library Databases, LibGuides, and other information about the Levin Library please use the Library tab on the main myCurry portal page. You can access this by clicking on the myCurry words at the top left of your screen and then on Library in the purple tabs. |
