'The Value of Internships' - Alumni & Mentor Panel:

Exactly how important are internships? What do employers in different industries really look for when hiring? What do internships look like in different fields? Join us as we explore the answers to these and many other questions on our Alumni & Mentor panel, moderated by Professor Bob MacNeil, starting at 1:30 PM in the Katz Gym!

The Panel:

  • Kerlley Aime' - Deputy Director of Human Resources at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Kevin James Coleman '15 Com - News Reporter at WBZ News Boston
  • Catherine McCray-Manigault - Childcare Manager, Special Needs Coordinator at The SPARK Center of Boston Medical Center
  • Maggie Notopoulos - Internship Program Coordinator at the Museum of Science
  • Elton Silva '14 Com/Bus - Senior Advisor in Pharmacy Product Development at CVS Health

Employer Networking Social:

After the panel, students of all class years and majors are encouraged to gather in the Katz Gym to chat with employers, mentors, alumni, and faculty. Discover more about where life could take you after graduation, ask for advice on your current path and what steps you could be taking to further your goals, make new connections for yourself and your peers, and find that next internship or work opportunity you've been seeking!

Curry Connections Mentors, alumni and friends of Curry College, will be available to assist you in navigating the crowd and making the most of your time, as well as to offer direct guidance and connections themselves. Suggestions for great questions to ask and how to approach others in a networking event will also be made available.
