This utility enables you to join course sections within Blackboard by:

Keep in mind; this does not change the student enrollment in Banner. This utility only combines course section enrollments within Blackboard. After linking sections, you no longer need to manually add/remove students from your Blackboard courses - this includes the add/drop period. Since students will be removed from their original course section, multiple courses will not appear in their Blackboard My Courses module, only the "Primary" section of your choosing.

NOTE: Do not use the web browser back button while using this utility; it will error-out the process.

1.    Select a term

2.    Within that term pick a "Primary" course (the section you will use within Blackboard)

3.    Link one, or more, other course sections to the "Primary" (combining the enrollments into that section)

4.    Upon completion of the linking process, your section enrollment will update the next time the Blackboard synchronization process runs (approximately 12:00 AM, 7:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 3:00 PM, and 6:00 PM)

5.    Once it runs, enrolled students, from all linked sections will be found in the "Primary" course section
