- Dean’s Fund for Professional Advancement:
Supports faculty professional activities such as costs associated with presenting work at conferences, with conducting research, with further training in one's field, and other innovative ideas that benefit the faculty and the College. Please use either the individual or team application form to submit a proposal in advance of your planned activities. Funds must be requested in advance of the activity; further instructions are on the forms.
- Faculty Fund for Professional Advancement
The Faculty Welfare Committee (FWC) manages this fund, which supports similar professional activities as above, and sets aside specific funds for part-time AAUP members (including for individual professional memberships for part-time AAUP members). Please follow the FWC's instructions for submission as outlined here.
- Full-time Faculty Professional Memberships
Full-time faculty can e-mail the Interim Dean of Faculty, cc-ing their Department Chair and Chief Academic Officer, to request reimbursement for individual professional memberships. Please include in the e-mail the name of the organization, cost of membership, and dates covered by the membership. Deadlines for membership requests are December 1 for the fall semester and April 1 for the spring semester.
- Cap and Gowns:
For those attending Commencement, the College covers rental costs of regalia (cap, hood and gown) through the College Bookstore (please reserve regalia in advance, as requested by the bookstore).
