Educational sanctions are issued to encourage further reflection and goal setting for students found responsible through the Community Standards Process. Curry College recognizes that students engage through their individual learning styles. Therefore, students are encouraged to complete their educational sanction(s) using the format that best engages them in the reflection and goal setting experience. Students may complete their sanction(s) using any of the format and guidelines listed below, prior to the deadline assigned by their Community Standards Officer:

Essay: Write a 500 word paper to complete the instructions of the assignment.

Video: Develop a 3-5 minute video to complete the instructions of the assignment.

Electronic Presentation: Using Power-point or Prezi, develop a minimum of 5 slides to complete the instructions of the assignment.

Paper Presentation: Develop a presentation on a poster board, a brochure, or other visual representation to complete the instructions of the assignment.

Follow-up Meeting: Schedule a time to meet with your Community Standards Officer to continue to reflect and complete the components of the assigned sanction.

Other: Select another format of your choosing to complete the instructions of the assignment. Please consult your idea with your Community Standards Officer before starting your sanction.
